THE INNER ATLAS II

THE INNER ATLAS II

A series of practices for artists and thinkers who seek not just inspiration, but orientation inside their own world.

01 THE UNFINISHED LINE

→ for unblocking creativity

Take a sheet of paper. Draw one continuous line without lifting your hand. No control, no design. Stop only when the line ends itself. In the mess, your subconscious leaks out.

02 BLIND TOUCH

→ for waking creativity through the body

Close your eyes. Touch the nearest surface with both hands — wall, floor, object. Explore texture, weight, temperature. Do not name it. The mind wants labels. The body just feels.

03 SMOKE LINE

→ for softening the breath

Light incense. Place it where you can watch the smoke. Watch as it bends and disappears. Follow it until your breath matches its rhythm.

04 WATER PULSE

→ for restoring rhythm

Wash your hands under running water. Not quickly. Stay until the rhythm of drops becomes part of your own pulse.

05 HERB MAPPING

→ for awakening the senses

Crush a fresh herb (mint, sage, rosemary) between your fingers. Smell it. Try to describe the scent without using common words. This shifts the mind from language into sensation — where creativity begins.

06 THE TEA INTERVAL

→ for slowing perception

Choose one tea. Boil water. Prepare it without multitasking. Notice the steam, the aroma, the first sip. Let it be a ritual of arrival — each cup is a small ceremony of being here.
